Psychotherapeutic Counselling for Children and Young People

Children and young people seek counselling for various reasons. Some are learning to manage emotions such as anger, anxiety, or sadness. Others may be dealing with trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), or loss. Some may need assistance with friendships or other relationships, and some simply want to feel better because they don't feel quite right.

Dandelion Counselling provides a confidential, secure, and supportive setting where children and young people can learn self-support techniques.

Ailsa Smith Thompson of Dandelion Counselling is an approved tenderer for the Flexible Framework for Adoption Support – Therapeutic Provision (North Tyneside Council).
