BSc(Hons), PGCE, DPC.

Registered Member MBACP (Accred) 378198

Working across the North East & Cumbria.

Dandelion Counselling offers a creative, safe and containing space to explore thoughts and feelings.

My practice rests on the relationship between myself and client... my belief is that to be effective, it is not about what I 'do', but, what I can 'be', meeting wherever you may be in life and gently & empathically co-creating a therapeutic relationship.

I am trained in integrative psychotherapeutic counselling with an interest in attachment and developmental trauma. Through the lens of trauma-informed practice and with understanding of how the autonomic nervous system works we can gain insight into what is happening in our brains and bodies supporting a shift to a life where we 'respond' rather than 'react'.

I also have an interest in working with adults who are seeking to unlock, rekindle or grow their creativity.

My practice strives to be neuro affirming.

"We need to stop just pulling people out of the river.

We need to go find out why they're falling in." Desmond Tutu

Trained to work face to face and online / telephone.

Warm Wishes
